I’ve been a competitive swimmer for most of my life. I was a competitive swimmer in high school, was a lifeguard as my first job, participated in a few masters meets and even dabbled in a little triathlon training. I’ve been a coach for a few years as well and have used a lot of the same workouts and techniques that I used in competitions to train my swimmers.
I love to swim, plain and simple. I’ve had a love for the sport since I was a child and I couldn’t even begin to tell you when that love started. I was just born with it, I think. I’ve been lucky enough to have been able to travel to places like Austria and Brazil to compete and train with some of the best and smartest swimmers.
To this day I love to spend my time in the water, whether it be swimming, surfing, or just floating on a raft. I have been swimming since I was a little kid and swimming is my passion. I love the feeling of being in the water and the feeling of the water around me. Swimming is the one thing that makes me feel like I am home and grounded. It’s very relaxing and almost meditative to me.
I wanted to share my love of the water with the world and so I created this website to tell the world about my love of swimming. I am happy you stopped by and am excited to share my knowledge with you and help you learn to love the water too!
